How it began...
faithHighway began in 2000, when two successful business men, Dennis Dautel and Eric Johnson, decided they wanted to help churches and ministries present the timeless truth of the Gospel using today’s technology. Over the years, faithHighway has come a long way from a 5 member staff and the goal of helping 50,000 churches nationwide with communication, marketing, media, and online management resources.
The Early Years...
In 2002, faithHighway acquired a few divisions from Impact Productions, which got its start in the missions department of Victory Christian Center (Tulsa, OK), with a dramatic stage production originally called 'Toymaker & Son' (it eventually became Toymaker's Dream: The Masterpiece). In addition to over 200 domestic showings per year, it toured Russia (before the Iron Curtain fell), Communist China, Communist Cuba (Castro televised it nationally), the St. Louis World's Fair, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and the Olympic Village. Of the 3 million people who've seen the play, 300,000 people have come to know Christ. To God be all the glory! Although the official tour ceased many years ago, Teen Mania now uses a condensed version on their missions trips, a play called 'Spellbound.' This acquisition enabled faithHighway to provide churches with two of the most significant influencers as outreach tools in society today: Mass Media and the Internet.

In 2007, with the face of media in the church changing, we officially released our new media delivery system Sermon Connect, which now has several tens of thousands of media items and is continuing to grow! In addition to one of the fastest growing media centers for churches, Sermon Connect received two prestigious awards: Best Overall Church Product and Best Church Digital Product for 2008.
Lately...
In 2008, in response to customer demand, we began offering a full spectrum of design services including identity, branding, and custom campaign packages in addition to print fulfillment for a turn-key solution. Later in the year, www.MediaOutreach.com was launched, a blog serving as the intersection of conversation and collaboration between faith, culture, and technology.
Now having served over 13,000 churches nationwide, we have launched igniteCRM, a 100% web-based Church Relationship Management software created to empower ministry leaders for healthy church growth through fantastic tools such as social networks, management of groups, members/volunteers, and contributions/donors, as well as visitor and attendance tracking, and a complete virtual IT solution for churches.
So Now What?
The answers always lie within our Creator. Although the accomplishments and progress are great...our ultimate desire is simply to obey Him.
What He has spoken to our hearts may not be the totality of where He is taking us, but what we are to do is simple....utilize every form of media and technology He places in our hands to reach the 100 million + homes in our nation...consistently...persuasively...relevantly.
