"We ran the commercials heavily and when our outreach teams hit the streets for a neighborhood outreach, we had an inroad into people’s hearts. Many people knew exactly who we were and their eyes would light up." - Harvest Time Church

How long has faithHighway's Commercial Outreach been around?
We've been around for close to 15 years. Formerly known as Impact Productions, we got our start in the missions department of Victory Christian Center (Tulsa, OK), with a dramatic stage production originally called 'Toymaker & Son' (it eventually became Toymaker's Dream: The Masterpiece). In addition to over 200 domestic showings per year, it toured Russia (before the Iron Curtain fell), Communist China, Communist Cuba (Castro televised it nationally), the St. Louis World's Fair, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and the Olympic Village. Of the 3 million people who've seen the play, 300,000 people have come to know Christ. To God be all the glory! Although the official tour ceased many years ago, Teen Mania now uses a condensed version on their mission trips, in a play called 'Spellbound.'

How did we get involved with television commercials?
Because of our extensive traveling, we began bumping into hundreds of pastors a year who would rave about the impact and creativity of Toymaker's Dream. They began to talk with us and share their desire to get this message out to the masses, and they brought up the idea of television. How could we bring this anointing and power to the airwaves? Several pastors - including John Osteen (who's since gone on to be with the Lord) in Houston, TX; Jeff Perry in St. Louis, MO; Rob Coke in Austin, TX; and Larry Stockstill in Baton Rouge, LA - pooled their resources, and we produced our first set of 7 commercials. As they say, the rest is history. Today, over 10,000 pastors worldwide have utilized these powerful evangelistic television commercials as part of their church branding, and 86% of those are growing.

Are church TV commercials expensive?
Not at all. When most people think about advertising on television, they think it must cost millions of dollars. That may be true if we're talking about the Super Bowl or something like that, but to air on cable is relatively inexpensive. In fact, you can get on cable channels like TNT, FOX News, and ESPN for as little as $25-$50 per airing. With these rates, you can reach between 1,000-2,000 homes for every $1 that you invest in airtime. That's better than direct mail (the rate for mailers is 5 homes per dollar, at best) and is better for being identified through church branding.

What kind of results can I expect?
You can expect to reach the lost and grow! Now the commercials aren't any kind of cure-all or magic pill, of course. You will still need to preach the Word, do other forms of outreach, and launch forward with the vision that God's placed in your heart. This cannot change. But the commercials will begin to bridge the cultural gap between your church and the community, and you will begin to penetrate culture with church branding. When people are confronted with the 'God-shaped hole' inside of them, they will remember you. One of the best ways to judge results is by tracking the number of website hits your church’s website receives before and after the commercials start on the air. In our culture today, the majority of people will first go to a website before calling or visiting any kind of advertiser whether that be a car dealer, a restaurant, or a church.
